3D Customer Service Simulator

Our client needed to develop a training experience for people who had already taken any previous customer service training course. The aim was to provide an active learning instance, through a simulation, to train and consolidate soft skills and basic concepts both crucial for customer service.

Our solution.

At InterBrain we came up with a 3D simulator proposal, an immersive activity to implement learning at three different scenes:

  • Customer service in a clothes store

  • Customer service sales in a home appliance store.
    • Case: The customer arrives at the store requesting a garment exchange, but on a day when this service is not performed. The participant must make a series of decisions, mediate the situation and achieve customer satisfaction. As the simulation unfolds, the customer's mood is displayed by means of an emoticometer that will be modified according to the participant's response and the waiting time.

  • Restaurant
    • Case: Tables will be randomly occupied by 1 to 4 people. The participant has the role of a waiter and must perform different tasks in a timely and orderly manner to ensure customer satisfaction: Interacting with clients at the tables, taking orders, preparing the orders and delivering the orders.

Why using a 3D Simulator for the training?

Experience with this kind of simulators allows a unique training experience due to its particularities and to its similarity with real physical experience, and so, high efficiency is achieved in training results. In addition, with the implementation of Training Analytics (AI), efficiency also increases as training takes place i.e. costs are reduced, skills are acquired without risk and without real environment exposure.

Product development:

  1. Documentation development: project manifesto, list of objects to be modeled, definition of narratives/scenes and storyboard assembly.
  2. Design and modeling.
  3. Implementation.
  4. Control, evaluation and feedback.
  5. Final Delivery.

The simulator is delivered as an .exe file.
